XTEK Limited’s HighCom Armor Solutions business unit has secured a $2.6 million purchase order from an undisclosed European customer for its ballistic body armour.
In an ASX announcement, XTEK said the latest order will see thousands of individual advanced high-performance body armour products dispatched over the coming weeks.
“HighCom is XTEK’s Group global armour business, and from our advanced manufacturing capabilities in Columbus, Ohio, our patented XTclave production capability located in Adelaide, South Australia, and our new European Sales & Distribution office in Poland, we design, manufacture, and supply world-leading, ultralightweight and high-performance specialist ballistic armour solutions to militaries, law enforcement, and first responder customers all around the world,” XTEK Group CEO Scott Basham said.
XTEK Group is comprised of XTEK Limited and its wholly owned subsidiary HighCom Armor Solutions and operates as two distinct divisions, which are the Ballistic and Technology divisions.
The company’s Ballistics Division, based on the HighCom Armor business and brand, focuses on designing, manufacturing and supplying global military, law enforcement, and first responder customers.
Meanwhile, XTEK’s Technology Division is focused on manufacturing and supply global defence and security agencies with world-leading Australian-made and globally sourced systems, sensors, software, and support.
