Weld Australia has unveiled the winners of the 2023 New South Wales and ACT Welding Excellence Awards at Waterview in Sydney.
The event, held last night, 25 October, convened the leading players in the ACT and New South Wales welding industry to recognise the work they achieved over the past year.
NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation, one of Australia’s largest privately owned engineering service providers, took home the 2023 Company of the Year Award for Fabrication. The company was recognised for its commitment to excellence, which is evident through three fundamental pillars: continuous investment in plant and equipment, willingness to be better and different, and competitive passion for winning and growth.
Indigee Metals, a joint venture between JNC Group and Precision Metal Group, clinched the 2023 Indigenous Company of the Year Award.
Meanwhile, Allweld Services, a 100 per cent Australian-owned and operated company, won the 2023 Company of the Year Award – Supplier category.
Apex Welding Safety and TSS Engineering have been recognised as joint winners of the 2023 Health and Safe in Welding Award. TSS Engineering also secured the 2023 Project of the Year Award for its role in one of Sydney’s landmark projects, the Rozelle Interchange.
