RACV has finalised an extensive upgrade to its electric vehicle (EV) charging network, improving speed and reliability at its resorts, City Club, and public locations across Victoria.
The revamped network now includes enhanced public charging sites in Ballarat, Barnawartha North, Euroa, Horsham, Moe, Torquay, and Airport West—one of the most frequented EV charging locations in Australia.
The upgraded infrastructure features chargers capable of delivering up to 50-kilowatt and 350-kilowatt direct-current connections.
New 50-kilowatt DC chargers have also been installed at RACV’s Inverloch, Cape Schanck, and Healesville Resorts, as well as the Noble Park office.
Additionally, chargers at RACV’s Healesville, Torquay, Inverloch, Cape Schanck, Goldfields, Noosa, and Royal Pines Resorts, alongside the City Club, have been upgraded to 22-kilowatt AC chargers.
Public access to chargers is available at the RACV Torquay Resort.
RACV Members can benefit from a 10 per cent discount across the entire charging network.
RACV General Manager Energy Services Greg Edye highlighted the importance of the upgrades, saying they cater to the growing demand for EV infrastructure in Victoria while enhancing the reliability of charging experiences at regional and metropolitan sites.
“RACV’s EV network upgrade reflects our continued commitment to helping Victorians reach their destination safely and efficiently,” said Edye.
“Our focus has been to deliver reliable, fast-charging solutions across Victoria, to support RACV Members and customers with keeping their vehicles fully charged for their journey.”
Each charging site now features CCTV security cameras, ensuring a safer environment for users and deterring vandalism.
