A new range of baby formula – the Omniblend Nourish Premium infant formula – was officially launched by Minister for Industry, Lily D’Ambrosio at the Omniblend manufacturing facility in Derrimut on Tuesday.
The company expects to export up to 2.5 million tins of infant formula in the first year.
“Innovation is critical to Victoria’s future economic prosperity and companies such as Omniblend Nourish are making a great contribution in that space,” said Minister D’Ambrosio.
The Andrews Labor Government has identified food and fibre as one of six high-growth sectors to drive Victoria’s economic growth as part of its $200 million Future Industries Fund, set to be launched later this year.
“Food and fibre is one of the high-growth sectors that will drive Victoria’s economic growth as part of the Andrews Labor Government’s $200 million Future Industries Fund,” Minister D’Ambrosio said.
Omniblend Nourish was founded by leading specialised protein powder manufacturers Omniblend in 2012 to deliver premium Australian dairy products to China and Asia.
The company manufactures a wide range of unique infant formula and life time nutritional products such as milk powders, supplement drinks, and specifically formulated maternal and elderly products.
