The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) has officially announced the opening of registrations for NPE2024: The Plastics Show scheduled to run from 6 to 10 May 2024.

To be held in Orlando, Florida, the event aims to unite professionals from all sectors of the plastics industry both in the United States and worldwide with expectations of over 55,000 attendees.

Matt Seaholm, president and CEO of PLASTICS, expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “NPE2024 will return bigger and better than ever. The plastic industry plays a critical and sustainable role in modern life, and this show will be a testament to that.”

One of the core themes of NPE2024 is sustainability and Seaholm emphasised, “With sustainability at the centre of everything produced at the show, attendees will witness new technologies and significant education opportunities to push us toward a more circular economy and help our industry continue to grow.”

The event’s theme, “Made for You,” underscores the importance of attendees, placing them at the forefront of all experiences.

In particular, NPE2024 will cater to all industry professionals, including those just starting their careers.

Highlights of the event include six technology zones, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services, as well as educational presentations of over 100 speakers on trending topics fostering innovation, circularity, and collaboration.

A brand-new addition dubbed NPE Circularity Hub will also pave the way for attendees to explore the plastics circular economy from raw materials to consumer products.

Influential women in the industry will have the opportunity to share their success stories at the Women in Plastics Breakfast.

Attendees at NPE2024 will have exclusive access to the entire plastics supply chain, including machinery and equipment, raw materials, recycling, sustainability, automation, robotics, 3D and 4D printing, inspection, and design.

This wide-ranging scope serves vital markets such as automotive, consumer products, recycling, packaging, medical, and building and construction.

Steve London, NPE2024 committee chair, urged industry professionals to register early, saying, “NPE2024 is at the forefront of the plastics future. If you want to further your career, grow your company, or keep up with new trends and solutions, NPE2024 is where you need to be in May 2024.”
