Tetra Pak welcomes Giancarlos Larocca as Oceania’s new marketing director

Tetra Pak, a world-leading food processing and packaging solutions company, announced the appointment of Giancarlos Larocca as the new Marketing Director for the Oceania region.

Larocca, who has recently relocated from Italy to Melbourne, takes over the role following the internal movement of Jaymie Pagdato to Sales Director after six years in the position.

Larocca brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having most recently served as Tetra Pak’s Global Category Manager.

Since joining Tetra Pak in 2015 as Marketing Manager, he has worked in various capacities across Italy and the Americas.

With over a decade of experience in the food and beverage sector, he has collaborated with both global and local brands in processing, packaging solutions, and innovation.

“Giancarlos is an exciting addition to the Tetra Pak Oceania team. His expertise across both B2B and B2C marketing, as well as his in-depth knowledge of Tetra Pak’s offerings at a global level, will be an asset for our regional business. We’re thrilled to have him on board,” said Boris Munster, managing director of Tetra Pak Oceania.

In his new role, Larocca will focus on delivering value to Tetra Pak’s regional customers and suppliers through innovation, collaboration, and open communication.

He aims to amplify the brand’s positive impact on the environment and community.

Additionally, he plans to capitalise on global consumer and category trends to drive innovation and growth for both brand owners and Tetra Pak in Oceania, particularly in the growing categories of plant-based food and drinks.
