The company held its 2020 annual Shareholder Meeting and Battery Day on September 22.
Tesla’s co-founder and CEO, Elon Musk, gave presentation about the company update. Following the conclusion of the stockholder meeting was the Battery Day event where live video webcasts of both events were accessible to the general public.
Elon Musk made some big announcements where the company is planning to get rid of Cobalt in their batteries and to manufacture its own “tabless” batteries, called 4860 cells.
