The arrival of technological advancements in manufacturing has ushered in a new era of innovations and challenges for smart factories. For businesses in the era of Industry 4.0, data analytics serves as the driving force for revolutionising manufacturing processes and addressing new challenges that come with it.

Tasmania is now home to a purpose-built pre-cast concrete production facility that will manufacture more than 1,000 segments for the new Bridgewater Bridge, the biggest transport infrastructure project in the state’s history. 

Steeline GRP, the largest steel roll former in the Northern Territory, is the latest grant recipient of co-investment under the Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem Fund (AMEF), securing $800,000 to support the integration of new manufacturing equipment to scale up the company’s operations. 

The McGowan Government is delivering for regional Western Australia through the new 2023-24 budget that features a massive $11.2 billion investment in regional infrastructure, driving new job opportunities in high tech manufacturing, clean energy, and defence industries.
