Australia trails New Zealand in industrial energy cost reductions, IEEFA reports

Australia is lagging behind New Zealand in the adoption of industrial heat pump (IHP) technology, despite its potential to significantly reduce energy use in industrial processes, according to a new report by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA). 

$43 million to help industry to reduce emissions

Grant funding will be provided in two streams to support feasibility studies and engineering studies to establish the business case for replicable projects that demonstrate energy efficiency and renewable energy technology solutions for industry.
