Queensland commends Rheinmetall on $1b deal to manufacture Boxer CRVs for Germany

Queensland-made military vehicles are reportedly set to become one of Australia's largest defence exports as part of a $1 billion agreement to provide the German Bundeswehr with more than 100 Boxer combat reconnaissance vehicles (CRVs).

Australia, Germany ink Boxer vehicle export agreement

Pat Conroy, Minister for Defence Industry, and his German counterpart, Thomas Hitschler, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Defence, have signed a Letter of Cooperation to begin official negotiations to manufacture the Boxer heavy weapon carrier vehicles in Queensland for export to Germany.
