Sphere has strengthened its manufacturing capability as part of a broader brand consolidation, bringing production of its HubX and HubT systems in-house through a new partnership with Sydney-based manufacturing firm Carasel.

The move to local production gives Sphere greater control over quality and delivery timelines, while also supporting Australian industry and jobs, the company said in a news release.

It forms part of a wider strategy that includes unifying its group operations – previously operating under Sphere Group, remote operations platform Curo, and autonomous water sampling solution Nero – into a single refreshed Sphere brand.

“Consolidating under one brand gives us focus,” said Paris Cockinos, CEO of Sphere. “I’m incredibly proud of where we’ve come from. What started as a small drone supplier has grown into a full-stack technology business delivering real impact across Australia. This rebrand brings everything we’ve built together into one clear identity. It cuts out complexity, aligns our team and strengthens our position in the market.”

Sphere said the consolidation reflects how clients already use its solutions across hardware, software, and field operations.

By aligning everything under one name, the company aims to simplify customer engagement and better support future growth in sectors such as mining, energy, environment, infrastructure, and government.

“This new brand identity is more than a new look. It’s a new lens on who we are and the value we deliver,” said Will Walsh, Marketing Director at Sphere.

“We’ve refreshed our visual identity, clarified our value proposition and introduced the Data & Drones brand platform to clearly communicate what we offer. It’s a single, connected experience that reflects where we are today and where we’re going next.”

Sphere’s internal operations are also expected to benefit from sharper alignment across teams, tools, and processes, streamlining day-to-day workflows.

Customers will continue to access Sphere’s full suite of drone and data solutions with no disruption to products, services, or support, according to the company.

Early access to DJI’s latest Dock 3 technology has also positioned Sphere to lead in autonomous drone operations, further reinforcing its readiness to support the broader industry adoption of beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) and remote workflows.

Sphere said the changes are part of its long-term vision to build a scalable, enterprise-ready brand delivering integrated drone and data technology solutions across Australia.
