When seeking to improve the Operational Health & Safety of its manual frozen fish packing operations in Australia, family owned Simplot turned to ABB robots.
‘Systems integrator, A&RT installed a robotics pick and place system including 9 ABB FlexPicker robots which pack up to 900 pieces of frozen fish per minute. The 9th FlexPicker has been configured so that it can be also used as a Quality Assurance system rejecting any undersize pieces,’ ABB.
