SEA Electric inks Zurich collaboration to boost commercial EV uptake

SEA Electric has partnered with Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) to accelerate the transition of commercial vehicle fleets to sustainable technology. 

As part of the collaboration, Zurich’s risk engineering team of around 800 engineers will work with SEA Electric customers to enhance their switch to electric vehicles

ZRS will provide specialised insights and tools, that go above and beyond insurance, to help companies across various industries manage traditional and evolving risks to become more resilient. 

SEA Electric will assist Zurich customers to boost their understanding of the commercial EV space with customer experience days and potential webinars and provide training for Zurich’s risk engineering department. 

“Transitioning to electric, is a big commitment, our customers look to and rely on SEA Electric for guidance around the implementation of best practice strategy when it comes to the circular economy of commercial electric vehicles,” said Joe Di Danto, sales director for Australia at SEA Electric. “We take seriously, our responsibility of connecting our customers with reputable and proven organisations such as Zurich, as we lead the country in the shift to sustainable transport.” 

The partnership with SEA Electric confirms Zurich’s commitment to working with customers to achieve sustainability.

SEA Electric released the world’s first comprehensive range of all-electric commercial vehicles in 2021, which is now available from a dealer network across Australia. 

The range includes models from 4.5t through to 22.5t, which are entirely adaptable to a massive array of final applications.
