Schneider Electric announced the opening of applications for the third instalment of the Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Awards.
Launched in 2022, these awards recognise the contributions of Schneider’s partner ecosystem towards a more sustainable and electric world.
Applications are open until 15 October 2024, with global winners to be announced in early 202, the company said in a news release.
The application process and selection criteria focus on decarbonisation efforts and the broader goal of creating an Electricity 4.0 future through strategies to digitise and decarbonise.
Chris Leong, EVP Chief Marketing Officer at Schneider Electric, stated, “We believe that when innovation and commitment come together, we can drive meaningful changes and create lasting impact. This award program celebrates the #ImpactMakers who are relentless and passionate in turning ambition into action for a more sustainable, electric, and digital world.”
According to Schneider, winners of the awards will not only receive recognition but also benefit from global visibility, potentially opening new business opportunities.
Reflecting on winning a 2023 global award, Henkel’s Global Key Account Manager Pia Oelze commented, “This award represents personal achievement, exceptional teamwork between Henkel and Schneider Electric to explore solutions-oriented sustainability programs, and the collective progress we have made to create a better tomorrow.”
Nominations will be shortlisted for country awards, with country winners advancing to regional finals before consideration for the global award.
The 2023 program saw over 400 entries from 60 countries, with twelve companies selected for the global Sustainability Impact Awards, announced at the Schneider Electric Innovation Summit in Paris on 3 April 2024.
