The Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) has officially opened registrations for Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW) 2025, scheduled from 6 to 9 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
This premier event is set to feature over 400 organisations showcasing the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies, processes, and support services.
AMW 2025 will occupy a significant portion of the MCEC, covering 80 per cent of the venue. The exhibition will encompass a wide array of manufacturing sectors, from large-scale machine tools to precision cutting instruments, as well as state-of-the-art support systems, software, and accessories essential to modern manufacturing operations.
To assist attendees in navigating the extensive lineup, the event will feature dedicated zones focusing on specialised areas of manufacturing.
These include the Additive Manufacturing Zone, Australian Manufacturers Pavilion, Machine Tools, Manufacturing Solutions, Robotics & Automation, and Weld & Air Solutions. Each zone aims to highlight innovations and provide insights into specific facets of the industry.
A notable highlight of AMW is the Future Solutions Speaker Program. This series of sessions is curated to address the diverse needs of the industry, offering strategies to tackle current challenges and insights into emerging trends.
To enhance the visitor experience, AMW’s organisers have collaborated with event management software experts to develop online tools that assist in planning visits.
An AMW App will also be available, designed to help attendees navigate the exhibition efficiently.
Admission to AMW 2025 is free for trade personnel, but registration is mandatory.
The event is open to professionals in the manufacturing sector, with specific entry conditions in place. Students or children under 15 years of age will not be admitted unless accompanied by an adult, and groups of students require prior arrangement with the organizers.
