The government of Queensland is inviting startup entrepreneurs to apply for the Ignite Ideas Fund program. The initiative seeks to support Queensland-based small to medium businesses with high-growth potential and capabilities to strengthen key industries in the state.

The pilot program offers two tiers of funding and support, amounting to $100,000 for 12-month duration projects, and up to $200,000 for two-year-long projects.

Under the initiative, qualified businesses will gain access to various support services, such as sales and marketing, customer acquisition, legal support, financial structure, and investment networks.

Among other qualifications, eligible organisations must have no more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees and must not be a subsidiary of a group of companies with more than 50 full-time-equivalent workers.

Business owners have until July 7 to submit their expression of interest applications.
