
The Victorian Government has opened nominations for the 2025 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards, which will celebrate its 23rd year honouring the achievements of individuals and businesses driving excellence in the state’s manufacturing industry.
Victorian manufacturers and industry leaders are encouraged to submit nominations before the deadline at 11:59 pm on Monday, 2 June 2025.
Winners will be announced at a gala event in October, recognising outstanding contributions to innovation, growth, and leadership across the sector.
The awards feature a mix of individual and company categories. Individual awards include Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year, Young Manufacturer of the Year, Woman Manufacturer of the Year, and the Honour Roll for Service to Industry.
Company categories span across key sectors including construction technologies, food and beverage, health technologies, textiles and apparel, transport and rail, as well as leadership in gender equality and inclusion.
Additional awards will be given to manufacturers of the year across small, medium, large, and regional business categories.
To support potential applicants, the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is hosting a series of online information sessions.
These sessions will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday 15 April, Tuesday 22 April, Tuesday 29 April, Wednesday 30 April, and Tuesday 6 May. Interested parties can register by emailing industryevents@ecodev.vic.gov.au.
Last year’s awards celebrated notable contributions to the industry. John Krueger of Krueger Transport Equipment was inducted into the Honour Roll for Service to Industry, while Latinka Cubitt from Catten Industries was named Woman Manufacturer of the Year.
CSL was recognised as the Leader in Health Technologies and took out the award for Manufacturer of the Year – Large Business. Assembled Threads was named Manufacturer of the Year – Small Business.
