Mayo Hardware has announced its annual fundraising initiative to support the McGrath Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

The company will donate 25 cents for every pair of ATG 34-814 MaxiFlex Active pink gloves sold throughout the month, with proceeds going directly to the McGrath Foundation to help fund breast cancer care and awareness.

The McGrath Foundation provides vital support to individuals affected by breast cancer by funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia, according to a news release.

These nurses offer free, personalised care to families navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, ensuring patients receive the emotional and medical support they need.

Jason Vandenberg, Mayo Hardware’s Safety Product Manager, expressed the company’s commitment to the cause.

“Supporting the McGrath Foundation is a meaningful way for Mayo Hardware to contribute to the fight against breast cancer. With ATG’s pink gloves, we are encouraging and empowering our customers to unite behind this cause.”

The ATG MaxiFlex Active pink gloves are designed for comfort and durability, offering features like aloe vera and vitamin E release to promote hand well-being during work.

These gloves are commonly used in logistics, inspection, and small component handling.

As part of the initiative, Mayo Hardware is also encouraging workplaces to host Pink Day morning teas or lunches to raise awareness and foster a supportive environment among teams.

Donations from the glove sales will continue to support the McGrath Foundation’s mission of providing care and awareness for thousands affected by breast cancer across Australia.
