Maxblue to manufacture cutting-edge ClearVue solar IGUs

ClearVue Technologies has announced a strategic OEM Manufacturing Agreement with Maxblue Industrial Glass Co, LTD, a prominent Chinese manufacturer of advanced architectural glass solutions. 

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in ClearVue’s mission to revolutionise photovoltaic glazing technology and bolster its global supply chain, as revealed in a news release. 

The partnership enables Maxblue to manufacture ClearVue’s advanced solar integrated glass units (IGUs) on an OEM basis, ensuring a reliable production capacity to support ClearVue’s global projects and licensees.

Maxblue, headquartered in Shanghai with production facilities in Jiangsu Province, is renowned for its cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, including fully automated IGU fabrication and lamination lines equipped with advanced quality control systems.

ClearVue’s Global CEO Martin Deil emphasised the importance of the agreement in enhancing product quality and market reach.

“We are excited to solidify and expand our partnership with Maxblue, a company we have collaborated with for a long time. Maxblue has been instrumental in refining the manufacturing process for our Generation 2 solar glass units.”  

“They played a crucial role in producing testing units, developing our flash tester, and integrating it into the production line. Their advice on the manufacturing process has been invaluable.

Deil highlighted Maxblue’s instrumental role in refining ClearVue’s manufacturing processes, including the development of testing units and integration of flash testing technology into production lines.
