Hannover Fairs Australia has announced a strategic partnership with the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) for the upcoming Industrial Transformation Australia (ITA) event, set to take place from 22 to 24 July 2025, at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Australia’s manufacturing sector by promoting advanced technologies and industry networking, AMGC stated in a media release.
AMGC, a key organisation supporting small- to medium-sized manufacturers, has a longstanding relationship with Hannover Messe and has co-hosted Australian delegations to Germany’s premier industrial trade fair.
The new partnership extends this collaboration, with both organisations focused on fostering innovation and capability development in Australia’s manufacturing landscape.
Dr Jens Goennemann, managing director of AMGC, highlighted the importance of industry engagement in keeping pace with technological advancements.
He noted that ITA would provide manufacturers with a platform to witness the latest innovations and interact with businesses that have successfully integrated these technologies.
AMGC plans to use its involvement in ITA to drive industry engagement through its role in the Federal Government’s Industry Growth Program.
This initiative will focus on key sectors such as Transport, Defence, and Value-Added Resources, offering manufacturers access to advisory services and networking opportunities to support business growth.
Hannover Fairs Australia’s Commercial Director, Mike Nissen, described the partnership as a step toward advancing the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector.
He emphasised AMGC’s contribution to the event’s broader goal of driving industry transformation.
The Industrial Transformation Australia event will run alongside CeMAT Australia, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to explore new opportunities in advanced manufacturing.
