Laminex, a leader in Australian manufacturing and design innovation, has unveiled its latest product line: the Laminex Architectural Panels.

The new range introduces a novel approach to timber battens, combining the classic appeal of timber with the flexible design options of battens.

The panels come prefinished and are ready for immediate installation, aiming to simplify and enhance the design of walls, ceilings, and joinery.

Available in three linear profiles and a selection of Woodgrain décors from the Laminex Colour Collection—including Raw Birchply, Classic Oak, Sublime Teak, Danish Walnut, Planked Urban Oak, and Blackened Legno—the panels are designed to integrate effortlessly into various projects.

The décors can be paired with either a Black Shadowline or a Natural Shadowline option for the Sublime Teak, allowing for a range of aesthetic choices.

According to Laminex, a notable feature of the new product line is its InvisiLock wall panel joining system.

This innovative system uses an invisible fixing method to provide a smooth and continuous wall appearance while preventing issues such as bows and gaps.

Made from decorated MDF, the panels are scratch, stain, and impact-resistant, making them suitable for high-traffic commercial environments.

The InvisiLock system also facilitates faster installation, with the potential to complete projects up to three times quicker than traditional battens.

This efficiency not only reduces labour costs but also ensures high-quality, cohesive results for both commercial and residential spaces.

The Architectural Panels collection includes options for both retrofit and new ceiling systems, offering direct fix and suspended ceiling solutions.

These panels are also intended to elevate any space, blending seamlessly into existing setups and supporting a variety of design concepts.
