Kimberly-Clark Australia (K-CA), a leading personal care product manufacturer, announced the appointment of Jessica Renton as its new Head of Supply Chain.

Renton’s appointment marks a strategic shift for K-CA, aiming to enhance operations, drive growth, and improve the customer experience, the company said in a news release.

With nearly two decades of experience in supply chain management across various sectors, including manufacturing, FMCG, retail, and healthcare, Renton is set to bring a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Initially joining K-CA as Logistics and Operations Manager in March 2023, Renton quickly demonstrated her capability, taking on additional responsibilities related to planning and safety just six months later.

Her leadership has been pivotal in advancing the company’s supply chain operations, including inventory management, sales and operational planning, and logistics.

Notably, she played a crucial role in the launch of K-CA’s state-of-the-art distribution center in Victoria earlier this year.

Commenting on the appointment, K-CA’s CEO Belinda Driscoll stated: “Over the past eighteen months, Jess’ extensive expertise and exceptional leadership skills have enabled her to make a significant impact on our supply chain operations, and it’s for this reason that I’m delighted to welcome her to the role of Head of Supply Chain for the ANZ region.”

She continued, “Joining a leadership team that’s fully committed to flexibility and inclusion, Jess’ appointment is a reflection of the opportunities available to exceptional talent at Kimberly-Clark – regardless of their gender.”

As Head of Supply Chain, Renton will lead the transformation of K-CA’s supply network, focusing on enhancing customer service and fostering growth for its portfolio of brands, including Huggies, U by Kotex, Poise, and Depend. Based at the company’s headquarters in North Sydney, Renton will join the leadership team for the ANZ region effective immediately.

In response to her new role, Renton expressed her enthusiasm: “With a keen focus on best practice and a strong team of logistics and supply chain professionals around me, I’ve relished every opportunity that’s come my way at Kimberly-Clark – and couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking a step up as ANZ’s Head of Supply Chain.”

Renton added, “The business understands the role that operational excellence plays in not only supporting its growth, but the relationship it holds with customers and consumers across the region – and as we strive towards making further sustainability and efficiency improvements, I look forward to playing a key role in driving us forwards.”
