Australia’s natural beauty has served as the inspiration for the 2025 colour trends, as Haymes Paint releases its 18th annual Colour Library.

The “Colours of Australia” palette features 40 shades along with 10 of the company’s most popular whites, creating a collection designed to empower trade painters and decorators as they guide clients through colour choices for the year ahead.

Drawing from the country’s iconic landscapes, the Colours of Australia palette includes tones such as ‘Dusted Tan,’ inspired by the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, ‘Awe Inspired,’ reflecting the majesty of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, and ‘Light Stone,’ reminiscent of the Northern Territory’s rugged terrain.

Haymes Paint said it aims to provide a practical tool for trade professionals, enhancing both customer satisfaction and painter-client interactions.

Craig Salen, Haymes Paint’s National Trade Sales Manager, emphasised the utility of the palette.

“We know that trade painters are often called on by clients for guidance when choosing colours,” he said.

“The Colours of Australia fan deck has been designed to give painters the confidence to provide professional advice on the colours we believe will set the tone in 2025.”

The new palette comes with suggested schemes and complementary whites, simplifying the selection process for both painters and their clients.

Available across Haymes Paint’s range of interior and exterior products, including Eggshell, Interior Expressions, Rendertex, and Exterior Solashield, the Colours of Australia fan deck is accessible to trade painters nationwide.
