FoodTech QLD is set to return to the Gold Coast in 2025, bringing together industry leaders, technology providers, and manufacturers to explore the latest advancements in food production and processing.

Scheduled for 19 to 20 June at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event will showcase innovations in food science, supply chain management, food safety, processing, packaging, and plant equipment.

Organisers anticipate more than 3,000 professionals from the food and beverage manufacturing industry will attend, with over 140 suppliers exhibiting solutions aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability in food production.

The event, which has established itself as a key platform for business growth and industry networking, will highlight how emerging technologies are shaping the sector.

The 2025 edition will feature a two-day conference running alongside the expo, providing insights from industry experts on technological advancements, evolving consumer trends, and the future of food manufacturing.

Key topics will include automation and artificial intelligence in production, the impact of digital transformation on supply chains, and strategies for businesses to adapt to shifting market demands.

Discussions will also explore workforce development, with a focus on attracting and retaining skilled professionals in an increasingly tech-driven environment.

Attendees will have opportunities to engage directly with suppliers and industry leaders through interactive exhibits and networking events.

The expo floor will feature a range of innovations, from automated packaging systems to digital measuring tools and sustainable packaging solutions.

Networking sessions, including a welcome party on June 18 at The Star’s Isoletto Privé and an official event at QT’s Stingray Lounge on 19 June, will provide an informal setting for industry professionals to connect.

A dedicated Networking Lounge, sponsored by Mosca, will also be available throughout the exhibition.
