Raytheon Australia has tapped Codan Communication to deliver a High-Frequency Amplifier and Antenna System for the Force Level Electronic Warfare System—Land, which is being supplied for the Australian Defence Force.

The HF Amplifier and Antenna System will serve as a crucial component for the Force Level Warfare (EW) system for the Australian Army.

The LAND 555 Phase 6 Land Force Level EW Project seeks to upgrade the existing Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles with a new EW system to improve the ADF’s ability to monitor and control the electronic environment.

It would also allow the Bushmaster vehicles to deny or degrade the electronic systems of adversaries if necessary.

“Codan, being a 100 percent-owned Australian company, is delivering a truly sovereign HF radio solution for the Australian Defence Force, ultimately helping protect and save the lives of Australians,” said Paul Sangster, president of Codan Communications.
