Australian fresh food manufacturer Beak & Johnston has partnered with global digital technology solutions company Fortude to implement Infor M3 and transform its manufacturing operations in Greenacre.
Beak & Johnston has previously adopted Infor M3 at its Andell Park Facility but has partnered with Fortude for the Greenacre plant rollout to tap into the firm’s deep domain expertise and strong implementation track record in the food and beverage industry.
“WithFortude’s support, we have been able to streamline our operations and minimise food waste through effective master demand forecasting and inventory management. We also have been able to establish complete traceability which enables us to ensure compliance and food safety in our operations,” said Ben Taboada, group IT manager at Beak & Johnston.
Fortude said its implementation helped the family-owned food manufacturer boost its inventory visibility, overcome integration, issues, simplify the stock valuation process, and eliminate supply chain efficiencies.
Through the partnership, Beak & Johnston has also tapped into the Infor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to boost core manufacturing capabilities with complete traceability and accurate shelf-life management capabilities for its fresh food products.
