This year’s Australian Sustainability Conference and Exhibition will happen on October 9 and 10 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The ASCE will highlight sustainability’s increasing role in Australian business practices, bringing together sustainability professionals and giving them a venue to debate on major issues facing the sector, as well as discuss the growing opportunities in the developing arena.
The Conference is considered as the country’s largest sustainability event. Business and industry professionals, as well as strategic leaders who are pioneering and leading sustainability practices and innovations will benefit from the cutting edge content delivered through engaging seminars and presentations.
Topics which will be covered during the two-day conference include technology, water and energy efficiency, management and ethics, resource management, ethical investment, business practice and strategy, up-skilling workforces and international innovative practice.
On its second year the 2013 ASCE will also be co-located with two other premier events—All Energy, a clean energy event which is now on its 5th year, and Waste Expo , which will showcase the latest industry technologies, products and turnkey solutions for the waste management, recycling and sustainability.
John Gorton, Group Exhibition Director of organizer Reed Exhibitions Australia, says “the genesis of the co-location was the synergies between sections of the target audiences of All-Energy Australia, Australian Sustainability and Waste Expo, all of which were scheduled to occur in Melbourne in October 2013.”
Gorton calls it a ‘logical step’ to join forces and create one combined showcase that delivers, more than ever, on Reed Exhibitions’ promise of strengthening Australian industry through technology, innovation and access to customers.
