The Australian manufacturing industry is set to convene at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 9 May for the Australian Manufacturing Week 2023.

The four-day event, which will run from 9 to 12 May, will take up more than 10,770 sq m at the convention centre and feature over 345 organisations showcasing their latest manufacturing innovations, processes, and support services.

AMW 2023 is organised by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) and will host presentations on the AMW Future Solutions Stage from specialists in each field.

Victorian Minister for Industry Ben Carroll will lead the event’s inauguration and opening ceremony on Tuesday, after which the AMW Future Solutions Speaker program will open with AM Hub Digital and Additive Manufacturing.

The event’s second day will host a series of speakers who will dive deep into women’s significant role in the Australian manufacturing industry.

Speakers on the Future Solutions stage will then showcase on 11 May a range of manufacturing successes and advances happening within Australia, exporting to the world.

On the last day, AMW 2023 will highlight Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Innovation, and Nanofabrication and provide the next big trends Australia is already addressing.
