Lanotec, a manufacturer of high-performance products to protect and maintain commercial, industrial, and recreational assets, is commemorating its 25th anniversary with the introduction of new environmentally friendly product lines for a variety of commercial and residential applications.
The Australian-made lubricant and protectant provider revealed in a press release that its 2023 collection is the outcome of long-term development focused on premium quality, all-natural lanolin-based products that are non-toxic and perfect for use in sensitive regions.
The company described Lanolin as an organic substance produced by sheep to protect the coating on their fleece, which carries its protective properties into a wide range of applications such as mining, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, automotive, timber treatment, defence, and aviation.
Furthermore, Lanotec has produced three additional lanolin products using lanolin supplied by Australian wool growers, notably MPX, a multi-purpose consumer lubricant and penetrant, MGX, for use in the marine sector, and EGX, which has been designed for electrical applications.
According to Lanotec, MPX, which comes in 300g aerosol, 600ml spray packs, and a 5-litre bulk container, is ideal for usage in the home, garden, or workshop whenever a lubricant or penetrant is required.
The Archerfield-based company also introduced its new aerosol line, which has a combination nozzle for use in any situation, and its inert CO2 propellant ensures maximal delivery of active chemicals.
Timber Seal, another Lanotec product line, penetrates the wood to fend off drying, splitting, cracking, and wood rot, according to the company.
It also weatherproofs the wood while showcasing the natural grain and safeguards metal fasteners and fixtures.
“Over the years, Lanotec’s range has found favour across many Australian industries because they are non-toxic, biodegradable, and adaptable to use safely in many different applications,” said Robert Doncon, general manager of Lanotec Australia.
He added that the variety of lubricants, penetrants, corrosion inhibitors, and degreasers offered by Lanotec is not only the safest and most adaptable on the market; they are also purposefully made to outlast and exceed the competition.
“Our expanded offering comes at an exciting time for Lanotec, as we celebrate 25 years of operation with new packaging options and fresh branding,” Doncon remarked.
For different applications, Lanotec said its liquid lanolin products come in a variety of formulations.
Specialty products available include greases, Steal-Seal, a well-liked option for shielding 4WDs and equipment, Wire Rope Lube, welding Anti Spatter, and Release Agent for use around concrete formwork, as well as pertinent spray bottles.
