The Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) has extended its congratulations to the winners of the 61st National Export and Investment Awards, an event celebrating the accomplishments of Australian exporters and their substantial contributions to the nation’s economy.
Sponsored by AMCL, the awards ceremony was hosted by the Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator Don Farrell, who commended the finalists and winners for their exceptional impact on job creation and the Australian economy.
This year’s awards showcased the excellence of 86 finalist businesses from across the country, with winners emerging in 13 national category awards.
Collectively, these businesses employ over 22,500 people and have generated an impressive $12 billion in export earnings.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Care Essentials as the 2023 Australian Exporter of the Year.
The Australian Made licensee not only secured the Regional Exporter category award but also claimed the top honor of the night.
Established in 1996, Care Essentials specialises in manufacturing Australian-made medical devices, with its flagship product, the Cocoon Warming System, playing a crucial role in preventing and treating hypothermia during surgery.
The company recently expanded its product line to include medical respirators, surgical masks, sterilization wraps, and pre-warming blankets.
For the second consecutive year, Australian Made licensee REDARC Electronics clinched the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials award.
Recognised for outstanding international success in manufacturing, engineering, and advanced materials development, REDARC Electronics is a family-owned company providing mobile, off-grid energy, and safety management solutions globally.
Furthermore, Australian Made licensee SDI Limited emerged victorious in the International Health category, celebrating its outstanding international success in health and wellbeing.
