The Australian Trade and Investment Commission is sending a delegation of Australian business leaders to the 16th International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME 2022), which will be held from 16 to 19 November in Kolkata, India.
Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry and hailed as South Asia’s largest mining exhibition, IMME 2022 is expected to feature seven country pavilions, with over 450 exhibitors and more than 100,000 sq. m. of exhibition space.
Participating Australian businesses in mining equipment, technologies, and services (METS) will be given the chance to interact with visitors from leading Indian mining and exploration companies, agencies, and consultancies.
Business leaders will also be able to develop a first-hand understanding of India’s mining industry, including recent policy reforms, regulatory requirements, and potential investments.
IMME’s past editions have featured significant Australian participation over the years.
Australian firms who will participate in the event tomorrow will be able to capitalise on the Australian Pavilion, with Australian branding, presenting Australian METS capabilities in one location.
They will also be enabled to showcase products and services to customers, partners, and distributors through the exhibition, business networking event, and the Australian METS Capability Guide 2022.
