Australian software company Simble Solutions Limited has secured a five-year contract from an unnamed UK confectionery manufacturer to deploy energy analytics and control solutions across three of the company’s manufacturing sites.
Simble said the contract will be delivered in partnership with LED Lighting technology company Powercor, which will commence with the installation of 30 Simble Energy hardware and software bundles, with potential to expand quickly to 450 bundles across the UK manufacturer’s sites.
Simble CEO Fadi Geha said the Simble Energy Platform will be deployed alongside smart lighting installations of one of the world’s largest LED lighting manufacturers, providing detailed measurement, reporting and verification of all energy efficiency initiatives.
“Full credit must go to Chris and the team at Powercor on a tremendous effort in securing yet another exciting project. Their ongoing success, which we are proud of, further validates our UK expansion strategy and underlines the accelerated momentum we have experienced since the beginning of t he calendar year,” Mr Geha said.
“Commencing with stage 1 of the rollout, this contract has the potential for significant growth and is expected to materially contribute to our revenue run rate. We look forward to updating the market on the progress of this exciting opportunity.”
Powercor’s technical Director Chris Wright said the awarded contract is the second substantial project between Simble and Powercor in recent weeks as demand for the bundled energy efficiency solution continues to rise.
“We have won another substantial contract and Simble’s technology helps us to deliver scale with low touch,” Mr Wright said.
“The inclusion of our Software-as-a-service allows us to win these highly competitive contacts and offer our products under a recurring subscription model, which eventually leads to more value and better services. We are very pleased with the success in recent weeks and are confident to deliver additional projects in due course.”
