COVID-19 has disrupted all areas of life and the shortage of protective equipment has become one of the major issues the world has had to deal with. This is where manufacturers come in.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic global supply shortage of hand and body protection, Ansell will be helping other manufacturers produce protective clothing.

The world industrial leader in health and safety protection solutions will be sharing manufacturing expertise with qualified manufacturers in the US and Canada.

The goal is to boost production of protective clothing and meeting the demand of first responders and healthcare providers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The companies involved will be provided with detailed toolkits with step-by-step instructions, patterns and informative videos for the manufacturing of gowns and coveralls that can protect against infective agents.

According to the media release, this is the company’s response to the global COVID-19 pandemic which has drastically disrupted the economy and all industries.
