Ansell Limited, a global leader in protection solutions, has completed the acquisition of the Primus brand and related assets that constitute the Life Science business belonging to Primus Gloves and Sanrea Healthcare Products.
Primus is an Indian manufacturer and marketer of gloves sold into the Life Science and Specialty Medical sectors and is one of the few global producers of long cuff gloves with strong brand recognition.
Darryl Nazareth, President Healthcare Global Business Unit at Ansell, said the two companies have also entered into a long-term supply partnership.
“India is a fast growing global pharmaceutical manufacturing hub,” Mr Nazareth continued. “This acquisition increases our presence in this important market and provides us with the opportunity to further accelerate growth of our Life Sciences business.”
