Amaero’s manufacturing expansion secures EXIM loan backing

Amaero International announced a significant milestone with the unanimous approval of a USD 23.5 million direct loan by the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) for its US subsidiary, Amaero Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Inc.

The loan, part of EXIM’s “Make More in America” initiative, supports the company’s investment in advanced manufacturing capabilities at its Tennessee facility, as revealed in an ASX announcement. 

EXIM’s President and Board Chair, Reta Jo Lewis, highlighted the broader implications of the initiative, stating, “We are underscoring EXIM’s commitment to re-shoring and re-building more resilient and more scalable domestic manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.” 

“[This loan] further highlights EXIM’s efforts to support the domestic manufacturing economy while creating skilled, highly-paid jobs in the U.S.”

The loan, equivalent to AUD 37.8 million, will support Amaero’s capital equipment financing and is a pivotal step in its mission to bolster US manufacturing capabilities. 

Hank J Holland, Amaero’s Chairman and CEO, called the approval a transformative event, noting, “This is a very important milestone for Amaero. Non-dilutive, U.S. government-funded support is an important signal to the market that validates the alignment of Amaero’s strategy and capability with the United States’ priority policy initiatives.”

The MMIA loan approval follows an extensive due diligence process, which involved internal reviews, third-party consultancy, and credit assessments. 

Amaero has worked with EXIM since January 2024 to secure this financing, which is contingent on finalizing loan documentation, expected in the current quarter. 

The funds will enable Amaero to commission advanced atomizers and expand its manufacturing headquarters in McDonald, Tennessee. 

These developments position the company as the largest US domestic producer of C103, refractory, and titanium alloy powders—materials critical to the aerospace, space, and defense sectors.
