In just four weeks, the spotlight will shine on Australia’s industrial heart as Australian Manufacturing Week 2025 (AMW) takes over Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre for four days of cutting-edge tech, world-class innovation, and industry-defining conversations.

Now in its 26th year, AMW is set to gather the full spectrum of Australia’s manufacturing industry under one roof at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6 to 9 May 2025 with free registration available here.

Australian Manufacturing Week 2025, hosted by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), will feature more than 400 exhibitors across 12,000 sqm of exhibition space, bringing together key players from across the manufacturing sector to showcase a broad range of technologies and services.

A celebration of advanced manufacturing

For four days in May, manufacturing takes over the narrative — as thousands of attendees gather to explore the latest in machining, automation, additive manufacturing, digital technologies, and more.

In particular, the event will feature six distinct exhibition zones, each offering a deep dive into different facets of modern manufacturing:

  • Machine Tool Zone – The beating heart of the expo, this zone will feature world-class companies in machine tools and ancillary equipment, reflecting the legacy and strength of this sector in shaping manufacturing as we know it.
  • Additive Manufacturing Zone – From Stereolithography to Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), this area will spotlight innovations in 3D printing and advanced prototyping.
  • Australian Manufacturers Pavilion – Showcasing homegrown excellence, this pavilion will highlight Australia’s advanced manufacturing capabilities — from precision engineering to the latest production techniques.
  • Manufacturing Solutions Zone – Focused on practical problem-solving, this zone brings together software, systems, and support services that help manufacturers streamline operations and overcome industry challenges.
  • Robotics & Automation Zone – A highlight for many attendees, this zone will demonstrate how smart automation and robotics are revolutionising the shop floor — with live displays and AI-driven solutions front and centre.
  • Weld & Air Solutions Zone – Offering interactive demos and expert insights, this space will explore the most advanced welding and air technology systems, essential for both traditional and next-gen manufacturing environments.

Knowledge sharing at the core

Adding further value, the Future Solutions Speaker Program will run throughout the week, providing a platform for attendees to hear from industry experts, thought leaders, and changemakers.
