IVE Group Limited announced today that following its acquisition in November 2021, AFI Branding (AFI) will rebrand to IVE, which will be part of newly formed Brand Activations – a “full-service display, signage and activation offering to the retail, events and exhibition industries.”
According to the ASX-listed company, the new offering will boost capabilities in Australia with extensive production hubs across New South Wales and Victoria.
“Brand Activations sees our existing Retail Display teams, AFI Branding and Active Display Group (both acquired in November 2021) come together to offer the most comprehensive onshore capabilities in Australia.”
IVE Group said the new Brand Activations business will specialise in creating temporary, semi-permanent, permanent display solutions, and physical activations, for a client base of global and Australian brands.
“The acquisition of AFI and ADG is aligned with IVE’s growth strategy in the retail, events and exhibition space.,” said IVE’s Production and Distribution CEO, Cliff Brigstocke.
Commenting on the rebrand, AFI’s Founder and Strategic Director, Glenn Wathioson, said, “Becoming part of IVE Group last year has propelled AFI into its next chapter, opening up a host of opportunities for AFI and our clients.”
Wathioson added that AFI Branding’s integration into IVE allows the company to offer a wider range of products and a larger capacity to their clients, as well as the increased expertise provided by collaboration with IVE’s teams.
In December 2022, AFI relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Victoria’s Braeside, joining many of IVE’s other production and distribution services such as print, premiums and merchandising, as well as integrated logistics.
Founded in 1992, AFI Branding has grown to what it claims as Australia’s largest fabric printer.
