The Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity’s (A2EP) new short course, Decarbonisation Technologies 101, is coming to Melbourne on 12 September to help businesses transition to a cleaner future and enhance productivity and market competitiveness.
Limited to just 16 participants each, the courses are primarily designed for those who are just starting up on their net-zero initiatives, decarbonisation, and energy productivity.
AE2P is calling on junior engineering and environmental graduates working in the industrial sector, as well as other professionals in the finance, marketing, and communications sectors, to participate in the event.
Government officials who seek to gain a deeper understanding of how decarbonisation is integrated with the industry are also encouraged to sign up for the course.
The one-day, interactive face-to-face training will feature industry experts who will discuss the fundamentals of energy productivity and decarbonisation.
Event speakers include Associate Professor Andrea Trianni from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and Alan Pears, senior industry fellow at RMIT University and innovation lead at A2EP.
The course will cover numerous topics surrounding decarbonisation, including metering, monitoring, and Industry 4.0 solutions, as well as its benefits and available grants.
AE2P has already begun teaching participants in Sydney, kickstarting the training in Sydney today, 7 September at UTS, Ultimo.
Aside from Triannni and Pears, the Sydney session also saw a presentation from Roger Horwood, industrial expert and principal consultant at Energetics.
