The House Standing Committee on Industry, Science, and Resources are set to examine the health, robotics, and space sectors as part of its inquiry into developing advanced manufacturing in Australia.
The public hearing will be held tomorrow, 25 July, and will facilitate discussions on stakeholders’ views on key issues affecting the growth of advanced manufacturing development in Australia relating to health, robotics, and space.
Representatives from various sectors will explore the factors required to enable the growth of advanced manufacturing, financial and non-financial investment opportunities and their worker and skills needs.
“The Committee looks forward to hearing stakeholders’ insights into how the Commonwealth Government can better support the growth of advanced manufacturing in Australia. The growth of advanced manufacturing is vital to our future industry and any changes that we recommend must be informed by industry,” said Committee Chair Rob Mitchell MP.
