Advanced composites manufacturer XTEK Limited has received new purchase orders totalling A$8.1m from Defence.
The contract includes $5.7 million SUAS spare parts orders and a 2-year support contract term extension valued at $2.4.
Scott Basham, XTEK’s Group CEO, stated:
“These new orders from Defence totalling A$8.1m for new spare parts and related technical support services that are provided under the current multi-year Support Contract we have with Defence for small unmanned aerial systems (SUAS).
“We are very pleased that Defence has also accepted to take up the option of a further two (2) years of support for this important contract.
“The spare parts to be purchased under these orders will be held in our state-of-the-art SUAS repair facility in Canberra and will be used to keep this important SUAS capability operational for Defence for years to come.”
XTEK Group, which is comprised of XTEK Ltd and its wholly-owned subsidiary HighCom Armor Inc. (US) operates as two distinct divisions – Ballistics Division & Technology Division.
The Group’s Technology Division is focused on manufacturing and supplying global Defence and Security Agencies with Australian-made and globally sourced systems (UAVs & UGVs), software, and support.
