There’s just under a month remaining until the inaugural conference on October 29, and Open Innovation West are encouraging manufacturers, and associated supply chain businesses, to attend what will be a valuable day of learning and networking.
Delegates will be provided with valuable insights into the ‘how to’ of increasing innovation in their business, along with learning about new models and approaches that will contribute to increasing productivity and performance.
Open Innovation West aims to support and contribute to the productivity, high performance and recognition of manufacturing in Melbourne’s west by providing a platform for businesses to share ideas and knowledge, solve problems together across different industry sectors and increase productivity.
The inaugural Open Innovation West conference, “Driving Performance through Collaboration”, will provide delegates with valuable insights into the ‘how to’ of increasing innovation in their business, along with learning about new models and approaches that will contribute to increasing productivity and performance.

The Minister for Industry, Energy and Resources, the Hon Lily D’Ambrosio MP will officially open the conference, followed by keynote presenter, Nils Vesk, Innovation Architect. Nils will help you take your ideas out of their hiding places, identify the ones with the most potential and give them the right foundations for success.
Leading manufacturers from the region will participate in a facilitated panel discussion, followed by interactive sessions covering university and industry collaboration, energy efficiencies, business model innovation, and leadership. There will also be opportunity to participate in an applied case study workshop on innovation with Enterprising Partnerships (included in ticket price).
