IperionX welcomes industry veterans to Board of Directors

IperionX has announced the appointment of two senior US directors to its Board, further strengthening its leadership team with extensive industry expertise. 

The new appointments, effective 17 March 17, include Tony Tripeny as an independent non-Executive director and Lorraine Martin as Lead Independent Director.

Tripeny, a seasoned executive with more than 40 years of experience in financial and operational leadership within advanced manufacturing and materials science, previously held senior roles at Corning Incorporated, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. 

He currently serves as a Director at Mesa Laboratories and Origin Materials, IperionX said in a news release. 

“Tony’s extensive experience at Corning, an industry benchmark for excellence in materials innovation and manufacturing, combined with his deep financial acumen, will play an important role in ensuring IperionX’s leadership across the titanium and advanced manufacturing sectors,” said IperionX Executive Chairman Todd Hannigan.

Martin, who has been serving as a Non-Executive Director at IperionX, takes on the role of Lead Independent Director. 

With over 35 years of leadership experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, Martin held key executive positions at Lockheed Martin, including Vice President & General Manager of the F-35 Lightning II Program. 

She is currently President and CEO of the National Safety Council and serves on the board of Kennametal, a global materials science firm. 

“Lorraine Martin’s experience, leadership and insights across aerospace, defense, and government relations have delivered important strategic value to the IperionX team,” Hannigan added. 

“Her appointment as Lead Independent Director will add to her pivotal leadership contributions for our accelerated growth and success.”
