ARM Hub celebrates five years with Industry Day focused on advanced manufacturing

The Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Hub is set to commemorate its five-year anniversary by hosting an Industry Day on 18 March 2025, at the ARM Hub Learning Factory in Northgate, Brisbane. 

This event aims to highlight advancements in Australia’s manufacturing sector, emphasizing Industry 5.0 solutions, ARM Hub posted on its website. 

The Industry Day will convene professionals from manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics sectors to foster collaboration and showcase recent developments. 

The agenda includes both exclusive and public sessions designed to provide insights into the future of manufacturing.

Event highlights:

  • Heavy Industry CEO Roundtable (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM): An invitation-only discussion among industry leaders focusing on the future trajectory of heavy industry. 
  • Scaleup Think Tank (1:00 – 2:00 PM): Led by Michael Priddis and Greg Miller, co-founders of Faethm and Arena Mars, this C-suite session will address strategies for scaling industrial growth. Attendance is by invitation only. 
  • AI & Manufacturing Workshop (2:30 – 4:00 PM): Hosted by the ARM Hub AI Adopt Centre, this hands-on workshop aims to guide manufacturers on the responsible integration of AI. This session is also invitation-only. 
  • Propel-AIR Connect Tour (3:00 – 4:00 PM): An open information session introducing Propel-AIR, Australia’s inaugural AI and Robotics sprint, designed to accelerate innovation in Queensland’s robotics sector. This event is open to the public. 
  • ARM Hub 5 Years of Impact Showcase (4:00 – 5:00 PM): An exhibition highlighting the achievements of ARM Hub clients, tenants, and members over the past five years. The showcase is open to the public. 
  • Industry Demonstrations (3:00 – 8:00 PM): Live demonstrations of cutting-edge AI and robotics solutions will be accessible to all attendees. 
  • Evening Celebration (5:00 – 8:00 PM): This formal event will feature keynote speeches, a panel discussion, and networking opportunities. Attendance is by invitation only.

The ARM Hub Industry Day presents an opportunity for participants to gain insights from industry pioneers and government leaders, explore innovative AI and robotics technologies shaping the future of manufacturing, connect with key stakeholders—including investors, researchers, and policymakers—and learn about funding and partnership opportunities through Propel-AIR. 

The event will take place on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, at the ARM Hub Learning Factory, located at 53 Holland Street, Northgate.
