ClearVue Technologies has announced a strategic expansion of its operations into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through a partnership with Dune MENA General Trading, a subsidiary of Aria Holding.

This move is a variation to ClearVue’s existing Manufacturing and Distribution Agreement with Alutec in Qatar, allowing for sub-distribution through Dune Trading, the company said in an ASX announcement.

As part of this agreement, ClearVue’s advanced solar glazing products, including its flagship ClearVue PV Solar Vision Glass, will be distributed directly in the UAE, enabling sustainable construction solutions to meet the region’s growing energy efficiency demands.

Martin Deil, global CEO of ClearVue Technologies, expressed the significance of the partnership, stating, “Expansion of the agreement to include Dune Trading in the UAE represents another milestone in ClearVue’s expansion into the Middle East.”

“The UAE is a dynamic market committed to bold construction projects with ambitious sustainability goals, and we are excited to bring our technology to projects that will help meet these goals.”

The UAE’s rapid growth in infrastructure and sustainability initiatives makes it an ideal market for ClearVue’s innovative Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions.

Alutec will manufacture and supply finished insulated glazing unit (IGU) products to Dune Trading, while ClearVue may also directly support the supply of its spandrel and cladding products.

Deil added, “Our expanding relationship with Alutec through Aria Holding demonstrates the scalability and adaptability of our solar glazing technology. We look forward to partnering with other Aria Group Companies as we continue to deliver on our strategy of regional and global growth.”

Suraj Thampi, CEO of Alutec and Dune, also highlighted the alignment of ClearVue’s technology with the region’s objectives: “The UAE is at the forefront of innovation in the region, and ClearVue’s advanced technology aligns perfectly with our objectives of promoting bold, sustainable and smart construction. This partnership will provide game-changing solutions to meet growing energy demands while advancing sustainability goals across the region.”

ClearVue has further plans to strengthen its relationship with Aria Holding, with upcoming agreements in India and Saudi Arabia.

The company is targeting the burgeoning construction market in India, expected to exceed $1.4 trillion by 2025, with an agreement planned for mid-2025.

In Saudi Arabia, ClearVue stated it anticipates an agreement with a new Aria Holding entity later in 2025.
