Fujitsu has announced the global launch of its cutting-edge AI service, the Fujitsu Kozuchi AI Agent, designed to autonomously handle high-level tasks while collaborating with human counterparts.
The service, offered through the Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS, is part of the company’s broader Uvance business model, which aims to address societal challenges across industries.
The first AI agent in this series is designed to support business profitability discussions and negotiations, providing relevant information and suggesting actionable measures.
Fujitsu plans to expand the service’s capabilities to other business areas, such as production management and legal affairs, with a broader rollout scheduled for fiscal 2024.
This latest development will also become part of Fujitsu Uvance’s Work Life Shift digital transformation initiatives.
Fujitsu said its Kozuchi AI Agent addresses a common challenge businesses face when deploying generative AI models: high development costs, significant time investments, and uncertain outcomes.
The Kozuchi AI Agent can autonomously engage in decision-making, act as a fully integrated team member, and make innovative suggestions to drive creativity and new insights.
Using Fujitsu’s proprietary processing logic, the AI agent is reported to dissect abstract problems, break them into actionable tasks, and select the most effective AI models to solve them.
These models include Takane, a language model with advanced Japanese language capabilities, and Fujitsu Kozuchi AutoML, a tool that generates sophisticated machine learning models rapidly.
Fujitsu announced plans to expand the use of AI agents across various business operations, aiming to enhance customer efficiency and enable seamless business transformation through generative AI solutions.
