ARM Hub, Australia’s leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and design-for-manufacture innovation services, has received news of funding allocated to support companies in the adoption and management of AI.
Australian Minister for Industry and Science Ed Husic today announced ARM Hub and its partners as one of four AI Adopt Centres, dedicated to assisting SMEs in embracing responsible AI-enabled products and services to enhance their businesses.
Professor Cori Stewart, founder and CEO of ARM Hub, expressed enthusiasm for the centre’s role in positioning Australia’s SMEs as global innovation leaders.
“ARM Hub and its partners are thrilled to continue their work in fostering a world-class AI ecosystem in Australia that embraces safe and responsible AI and is focused on commercialisation and business growth,” stated Professor Stewart.
Recognizing that SME manufacturers acknowledge AI as a significant source of sustained value-add and enhanced global competitiveness, Professor Stewart emphasised the importance of SMEs capitalising on AI’s benefits for scaling up and growth.
“Given SMEs represent 93% of Australian business, it is imperative that they can capitalise on the benefits of AI to scale-up and grow,” she added.
The ARM Hub AI Adopt Centre aims to provide a cohesive service that showcases how data and AI can modernize businesses, enhance skills, and increase productivity.
The centre’s partners include industry networks, research organizations, tech companies, innovation networks, and government bodies.
