Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame awards open for nominations

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards, now in its 22nd year, are accepting nominations for 2024.

Celebrating excellence in Victoria’s manufacturing sector, the awards honour both individual and company achievements across various categories, the government said in a news update.

Nominations can be submitted on the eAwards website until 11:59 PM on Monday, 17 June.

Prospective nominees are encouraged to review the nomination and assessment guidelines available online.

The awards feature categories recognizing individual contributions, such as Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year, Young Manufacturer of the Year, and Woman Manufacturer of the Year.

Additionally, the Honour Roll for Service to Industry will acknowledge lifetime achievements.

Company awards span multiple sectors, including Leader in Construction Technologies, Leader in Health Technologies, and Manufacturer of the Year for small, medium, large, and regional businesses.

Special awards for Leadership in Gender Equality and Inclusion, Textile, Clothing and Footwear, and Transport and Rail highlight the diverse innovations within the industry.

Information sessions for potential nominees will be held online at 2 PM on 17 and 20 May. Interested parties can register by emailing industryevents@ecodev.vic.gov.au.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Wednesday, 9 October 2024.
