Additive manufacturing company Amaero International has appointed key executives who will be in charge of operations, finance, and administration at the firm’s flagship titanium and specialty alloy powder manufacturing facility in Tennessee, USA.
In particular, the ASX-listed company hired Chris Scanlon who will lead accounting, corporate finance, FP&A and administrative functions for Amaero.
In his new position, he will collaborate closely with Hank Holland and Eric Bono on corporate strategy, capital markets, FP&A, and strategic connections.
Jay Chandran will be in charge of Amaero’s general operations. He has extensive operational and management experience with top industrial firms, including Consolidated Precision Products Corp (CPP) and Precision Castparts Corp (PCC).
Chandran has overseen the pre-construction, development, and commissioning of greenfield manufacturing operations, as well as extremely complex castings plants with annual revenues of $550 million.
Meanwhile, Ken Davis will head Amaero’s corporate development operations, working closely with Hank Holland and Eric Bono to discover and create strategic corporate alliances while also leading critical commercial engagements.
Davis spent six years as the director of Additive Technology at CalRAM before joining Amaero, and he has nearly 40 years of experience in all aspects of powder metallurgy and advanced manufacturing.
Robert “Bob” Latta has been appointed as a non-executive director, effective immediately, subject to regulatory approval.
He is senior counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a major technology and growing business law firm in the United States, and has served on the firm’s Executive, Policy, Compensation, and WS Investments Committees.
Amaero Chairman and CEO Hank J. Holland underscored the importance of recruiting qualified and experienced financial and operational professionals as Amaero transitions from restructuring and resetting corporate strategy to operations and tireless execution.
“Over the next 12 months, Amaero will complete the fit-out of our flagship facility in Tennessee and we will commission the first atomizer and titanium powder processing equipment,” Holland noted.
Furthermore, the company announced that David Hanna has resigned as Amaero director, effective following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.
The board extends its gratitude to Hanna for his invaluable contributions during his term. A replacement Australian-based director is being sought.
