The NSW Government announced that a number of local food and beverage manufacturers will showcase their distinctive offerings at Fine Food Australia 2023, the southern hemisphere’s largest food industry trade show.
Investment NSW CEO Katie Knight said that 18 NSW firms who manufacture locally will be supported to attend the event, which will be held from 11 to 14 September.
The four-day expo, taking place at Sydney’s International Convention Centre, will include a ‘Flavours of NSW’ zone where some of the state’s emerging and premium food and beverage manufacturers will present their products to international and domestic buyers, distributors, and investors.
“From sustainable tea and native tonics to edible insects and cough serum from Bowral bees, we are supporting some of the country’s best food and beverage manufacturers to showcase to the world the exceptional products manufactured right here in NSW,” Knight said.
“With our highly efficient manufacturing supply chains, world-class transportation and logistics, and export support programs on offer, it’s no surprise we have some of the country’s leading food and beverage producers manufacturing in our great state,” the Investment NSW CEO added.
She emphasised that Fine Food Australia is an “incredible opportunity” for NSW businesses to develop into new markets, create connections, and increase brand recognition.
Director of The Kind Coffee Co Jules Gardner expressed excitement about showcasing their quality, homegrown coffee products at the Flavours of NSW zone this year.
“We are excited to take part in this year’s event and grateful to be included in the Flavours of NSW zone,” Gardner said.
She added, “We hope by taking part in this event we will be able to spread the word about our fantastic products and expand our reach to even more coffee-lovers.”
In addition to the subsidy, firms were able to attend a Trade Show Readiness and Marketing course, which gave expert export and exhibition assistance.
They will also receive advice from other NSW Government business support professionals both during and after the event.
Other NSW businesses supported to exhibit at Fine Food Australia 2023 are Billabong Jerky (Cootamundra Country Foods), Cedar Creek Cider, Circle Harvest, Eggzi, Finders Distillery, Karu Distillery, Long Track Pantry, and Organics Australia.
Furthermore, Spiralz Fermented Foods, Sweet Pea & Poppy, Teascapes Australia, The Apple Thief, The Green Lion, The Honey Thief, The Unexpected Guest, Trang Hue, and Ziggy’s Wildfoods will also be present at the event.
