Cloud Ground Control, an innovator in artificial intelligence and cloud robotics, has ventured into a strategic partnership with Robotics Australia Group to drive growth and foster a sustainable and internationally competitive national robotics industry in Australia.
The partnership will combine the capabilities and expertise of Cloud Ground Control and Robotics Australia Group, the nation’s peak robotics body, and is intended to facilitate a focused, collaborative approach between industry, research, government, startups, investment, and education.
As part of the partnership, both organisations will work together to bolster Australia’s robotics sector through regular industry events and research collaborations.
Michael Weiss, head of product at Cloud Ground Control, said the partnership will position Cloud Ground Control at the forefront of Australia’s highly competitive robotics industry.
“Cloud Ground Control is the world’s first cloud-based command and control solution that enables multi-user, multi-vehicle and multi-domain operations. The ability to remote view and control a swarm of uncrewed vehicles while gaining full situational awareness has great significance for an array of industry and humanitarian applications, such as disaster recovery, emergency response, robotics inspections, mail delivery and more,” said Weiss.

The establishment of the partnership comes after the Australian Government announced the National Robotics Strategy in April.
